Why homemade yogurt?

Can’t we just buy yogurt from the market, even more cheaply maybe, instead of making it at home?

No, we can’t.

We will try to explain why it is not the same:

Let alone the additives, thickeners, flavorants in the industrial yogurts on the market shelves, such yogurts must not be consumed as they do not have any live bacteria at all.

What makes yogurt so much important is that it contains both probiotic and prebiotic nutrients simultaneously.

Additionally, it has many proven benefits for our health, but this applies to homemade yogurt made of fresh milk and live yeast only.

You cannot find these benefits in the market yogurts that contain lots of additives and preservatives and thus no live bacteria at all due to industrial production.

We must give priority to homemade yogurt made of fresh milk and active yeast, but if we do not have that much time, we must prefer the yogurts made through domestic fermentation, which do not contain any additives and preservatives.
